Spize at Temasek Club - Atas Ambience, Halal Food, Teh Tarik!

Spize, a halal-certified restaurant, has a few outlets in Singapore. I find that the one at Temasek Club is the best because it has a wonderful ambience. Spize serves a wide variety of food, from Asean to Western and Mediterranean cuisine. There is definitely something for everyone. Don't forget to try their Artisanal Gourmet Gelato!

Seafood Marinara S$18.90

Generous serving of seafood
The Seafood Marinara pasta was served in a tangy tomato base sauce. It was sufficiently wet and the mussels were very fresh. The prawns were huge but could be firmer. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to juicy and fresh prawns. For S$18.90, the serving of prawns, squids, fish and mussels, was very generous.

Seafood Aglio Olio S$18.90

Fresh mussels!
The Seafood Aglio Olio was well done because the pasta was cooked al dente and was thoroughly infused with the aroma of garlic oil, herbs and chillies. Both portions of pasta were huge and I could not finish one on my own.

Nasi Goreng Ayam Kunyit S$8.90

Wholesome!
Ayam Kunyit means Chicken Turmeric. Turmeric is extremely good for health and has anti-cancer properties. It goes perfectly well with chicken. Spize did a fantastic job with this dish. The chicken pieces were tender; the aroma of turmeric was evident yet not overpowering. Sedup! The chilli sauce also had the right level of kick. With the generous serving of vegetables, this dish looks wholesome!

Ribeye Steak S$24.90

Perfectly cooked
The steak was cooked medium and the meat was very juicy. If you have a beef craving, you could consider ordering this. It lacked the fragrance of char-grilled beef though.

Teh Halia S$3
I am a traditional Kopi and Teh lover and it is not easy to find a tastefully decorated restaurant serving Teh and Pasta. I enjoyed my Teh Halia and am looking forward to more of it in future.

A variety of flavours
The Gelato is a Must Try! I am a hazelnut fan and this hazelnut gelato reminds me of the authentic ones I had in Italy. Spize's version is even better than Udders. You can try out the flavours before ordering.

Halal-certified
Lovely!
I was very impressed with the decor. It looked atas and yet cozy. I definitely recommend Spize at Temasek Club for dinner gatherings and hosting relatives from overseas especially from Western countries.
