Tuk Tuk Cha Nex - Super Duper Delicious Aloha Coconut Shibuya Toast andThai Boat Noodles at $1.90

Tuk Tuk Cha is a Thai cafe which just celebrated its 2nd anniversary on 4 July 2017. It has outlets in popular malls and the ones that I patronized at Junction 8 and Nex sell boat noodles, Thai Drinks and Shibuya Toasts. 

Today, I went to Meyson at Nex for some Retail Therapy because I was feeling very emo and I also needed to indulge in my favourite dessert to top up my Happy Bank. I discovered last month that the Aloha Coconut Shibuya Toast is better than most desserts I have ever eaten. Today, I just had to eat it! Thank God my sister was happy with my suggestion.

The coconut ice cream was very smooth and I could taste the strong coconut flavour. The dessert also came with coconut shavings and a generous portion of coconut "rou". The best part was the toast. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It had a very nice fragrance that went very well with the coconut ice cream. I recommended this to my buddy and sister. Both gave a huge thumbs up.

Thai Boat Noodles are noodles served in mini bowls originally sold by hawkers on boats in Thailand's floating markets.

The Tom Yum broth was too sharp. As usual, the beef broth was very authentic.

Best of both worlds

The best part about Boat Noodles is that you get to eat two different types for a meal.
